Breaking up is one of the worst and easiest way to make someone feel bad and strip him off of his ego and confidence. However, after a lot of thinking, you know that the best option for your relationship would be going separate ways. So how do you tell your partner about it?
1
Be true to what you feel. Show her that you are sincere. Simple gestures such as looking her in the eye can go a long way. Tell her everything. Right now, it no longer matters whether you'll be hurting her with the things that you wish to say because in one way or another, you already are anyway.
2
Let her know your reasons. Keep it fair. Why are you calling it quits? To keep it fair to her, let her know of the reasons why you came up with such decision.
3
Just say it the soonest time you can. As the song goes “there's no easy way to break somebody's heart.” You'll say it anyway so you might as well say it the soonest. Delaying will just prolong the agony for the both of you.
4
No rebounds please. After you finally call it quits, both of you will be placed in a vulnerable disposition. No matter how tough things become, avoid jumping into a rebound relationship. This will just make things worse and even hamper the moving on process for the both of you.
5
Go and give her her space. Feeling guilty and wanting to be there to comfort her will not in any way, help the both of you. You said it so now it's time to go. The space you give her will make it easier for her to move on.
