How To Polish Leather Shoes

Shoes, shoes more lovely shoes! Many people purchase great dress shoes but then spend a lot of money to keep them looking nice, such as keeping the polished so that they have that new look. Well this instruction will show you how to polish your leather shoes so that you can save a couple extra bucks.

Before getting started you will need to following items:

* Leather Shoes
* Newspaper
* Cotton rag
* Rubber gloves
* Liquid shine
* Shoe polish
* Shoe brush

You will need to layout your newspaper on a flat service. This is very important because you don't want to get any dirt or shoe polish on your lovely floor our table.

Now that you have laid out your newspaper you will want to move all of your shoe polishing items as well as your shoes onto the newspaper

Put on your rubber gloves.

Open up your shoe polish. Also, add some water into the other end of the shoe polish top. This would be needed in case your shoe polish is to tried out.

Brush your shoe with the shoe brush. This will brush the dirt, dust and lint off your shoes.

Next, rap your cotton rag around two of your fingers.

Dip your rag into the shoe polish. If the shoe polish is to dry, first dip your rag into the water then into your shoe polish. The water will help soften the shoe polish.

You will want to start polishing your shoes. You will want to apply the shoe polish in a circular motion. You will want to do this for the whole shoe.

Next, you will want to take your cotton rag and shine your shoe without using any shoe polish. This should remove and excess shoe polish you may have left on your shoes.

After you have added the shoe polish to both shoes you will next need to open the liquid shine.

Once you have opened the liquid shine, you will want to add this to the bottom edge of the shoes.

Allow your shoes to sit for a few minutes to try and presto! You have polished your leather shoes!
