How To Paper Train a Puppy

If you have to work all day and leave your puppy inside, you can't expect her to stay in a kennel all day and not make a mess. What do you do if no one is available to take puppy out?

Put your puppy in a small room like a bathroom or laundry room with her kennel, food, water and toys.

Cover the floor with paper or puppy pads.

Each day take away some of the paper or pads. Eventually the puppy should be using a small area of paper or pad for her potty place. Put the last pad or paper in a convenient spot in the room so the puppy can use this place in the future when you need to leave her.
