I recently lost 10 lbs in two weeks. Sounds difficult? It wasn't really. Before I started on my diet to lose weight I set up a schedule for myself with ten things that I must do every day. During the two weeks, I followed these things religiously and, at the end of two weeks, was happy to see I had lost 10lbs 2 ounces. If you would like to lose 10lbs in two weeks, follow these ten tips and you'll be surprised how quickly the weight falls off.

When you wake up, exercise. Every morning when I woke up, I would immediately get dressed in shorts and running shoes and jump on the treadmill. I exercised for 15 minutes every morning. Just long enough to wake me up but, more importantly, to get my metabolism moving. By exercising in the morning, you can improve your metabolism by 10 to 25%, which means it burns calories faster.

Always eat breakfast. Eating breakfast every morning is a must. If you don't, your metabolism stays sluggish up till lunchtime and it's much more difficult to burn the calories you need to burn every day to lose 10 lbs. Every morning, I ate a bowl of oatmeal with a banana chopped up in it, and one teaspoon of brown sugar. I also drank a cup of coffee and half a glass of orange juice.

Snack. One thing I have learned while living in Thailand is that Thai girls snack. They literally have food on their desk at work and nibble at it all day. What this does is, because you're eating small quantities of food all day long, your metabolism doesn't have time to stop working. It doesn't feel like it might be on a hunger strike, so it speeds up to burn the calories. I snack on fruit, peanuts, whole wheat crackers, pork balls (a Thai street food snack), sticky rice with mango, and sometimes dried spicy beef. I just eat a little bit, but eat every 15 minutes or so. My metabolism doesn't have time to slow down so I burn much more calories than when I was eating three meals a day with no snacks in between.
